Renewing

You can renew loans which have not been requested by other users

• at the service points
• online through the JYKDOK database
• by email: jykneuvonta@library.jyu.fi
• by calling during service hours

You cannot renew your loans if your borrowing rights have been suspended.

To be able to renew your loans in JYKDOK, you need the username and password to the JYU network or the Jyväskylä University library card and PIN code. If you forget your PIN, please visit one of the Library's service points to change it. You may also try a default code, which is the first four numbers of your date of birth (DDMM).

You can renew home loans up to 100 times if there are no reservations. Short loans cannot be renewed.

Reading room loans can be renewed twice.
