Finnish poet Juhani Siljo was born in Oulu May 3, 1888 and died in injuries during the Civil War in Finland on 6th May 1918 in the White troops.

Juhani Siljo's Jyväskylä time is a chapter of Finnish literary and cultural history.

Siljo worked at the Jyväskylä Scientific Library in 1915-1916.

Siljo was probably the most significant poet and the aphorism writer after Eino Leino.
