Faster access to articles

LibKey is now on trial use in JYKDOK’s article search: LibKey enables one-click access to pdf-versions of articles, so that you don’t have navigate through several pages to get the article you need! LibKey and BrowZine appear in article search as two different links:

“PDF Full text” -link finds straight away the article in pdf format and opens it up in your browser. “View Complete Issue” -link leads to BrowZine-tool, where you can browse the whole issue and all the past issues as well.

BrowZine contains all the subscribed e-journal content the library has, as well as open access e-journals. The journals are organized by topic, and you can add specific journals and articles to your own collections. BrowZine is also available as an app from your own app store.

You can also try LibKey Nomad – a browser add-on, which you can use when doing research searches outside JYKDOK. It shows if a specific article is available through your library and once again provides a single click button to access the pdf-version of the article. LibKey Nomad is available to six different browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, Vivaldi and Safari.

If you prefer to search articles with their DOI- or PMID-identifiers, you can try LibKey.io -search!

All these services are provided by Third Iron, which main mission is to quicken research work and lighten the workload of the library workers.
